Bangladesh 5 taka 2005 - New variety

This is another variety of Bangladesh 5 Taka coin. It is very hardly seen in circulation:

The difference among 5 Taka 2005, 2006 (KM#26.1) and 2008 (KM#26.2) are in clouds, pillars and numerical writings:

Bangladesh 2 taka 2013 - New type

New circulating type:

The main difference between 2 Taka KM31 2010 and 2 Taka 2013 is that in 2010, the portrait of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is a bit flatter and looks like artistic art. In 2013, it is higher and similar design as in 1 Taka km32 2010 and 2014 issues.

Bangladesh 5 taka 1994 & 1996

This is an old gap in Krause catalogue that most of us have already noticed in our collections:

The 5 taka 1994 and 1996 types that Krause currently names as KM#18.1 are in fact quite different.
The main difference is for clouds at top of bridge: 1994 cloud is bit flat and homogeneous, while 1996 cloud is a bit higher and made of small joined bunches of clouds.

Right now, both years are type KM#18.1 for Krause. This was already reported and soon 1996 will be a different KM.

Also, there is another 5 taka 1996 completely different, with wider details and different clouds, which is KM#18.2:

Bangladesh 5 taka 2006 & 2008

The 2008 type has a different composition (magnetic steel, ferritic) than the 2006 (non-magnetic steel, austenite).

Also, design changes are obvious when looking at both types:

-Different clouds and bridge pillars
-Much smaller bengali writings and numerals

Only Schön (and not Krause) distinguishes between them. 2006 type is KM#26 for Krause. 2008 will be a different KM.
