It seems that by the end of 2009 we'll see a monetary reform (1:1000) in Belarus. We'll see these new coins circulating in a country that never used their own coins before (just commemoratives).
They seem to have been minted at Kremnica, Slovakia.

MINTAGE figures
5 kop: 6 million
10 kop: 34 million
20 kop: 15 million
50 kop: 36 million
1 rubl: 24 million
This is a fake, because due to hard economic situation, belarussian national bank cannot perform a denomination in the near future

Well, don't you remember that Belarus has 2 official languages? Belarusian and Russan? So why I see only words in Russian?
ReplyDeleteBecause it's Belarusian: «капеек» and «рубель»
Delete"Now we also witness "milk" war with Russia and even stronger pressure to trade using Russian roubles. This seems to be the first step to unification..."
ReplyDeleteHow come that a war can lead to unification? In my opinion it only drives the countries away from each other, since even a milk war is quite a bitter thing. I believe that there will be no unification of monetary systems of Russia and Belarus, at least not in the nearest couple of years.
Who designed them? 3years old kid?
ReplyDeletePlace with numbers and word "kopeek" is especially funny.
What is it? Republic of Belarus doesn't need in non national money.
ReplyDeleteHmm... Suspect, Belarus can escape monetary reform in near future...
ReplyDelete1 ryb cannot cost less than 50 and 10 kopeek. Images can also true, but the prices in comments are specified not truly. In Belarus now it is a lot of gossips goes, it can was born because of a panic, but there can be it someone's malicious joke.
