USA 2007 - State Quarters

New circulating commemoratives.

The designs for the 5 new quarters are ready:



Montana: "Big Sky Country", shows a bull elk in the center posed on a rugged rock formation. In the background, the sun rises over the horizon of the plains of eastern Montana.

Washington: "The Evergreen State", depicts a salmon breaching the water with Mount Rainier as a backdrop.

Idaho: "Esto Perpetua", depicts the Peregrine falcon, a reflection of the Birds of Prey National Conservation Area and World Center for Birds of Prey in Idaho.

Wyoming: "The Equality State", features a bucking horse and rider in silhouette style.

Utah: "Crossroads of the West", features the first transcontinental railroad, effectively linking the United States from East to West, which was completed on 10 May 1869 at Promontory.
