France 1 & 2 euro 2022 - New circulation designs
New national sides for the French 1 and 2 euro coins:
These new coins were designed by the general engraver of the Monnaie de Paris, Joaquin Jimenez, who had already imagined the current 1 and 2 euro coins. The new design is inspired by the previous design: there is a stylized tree representing an oak tree, which evokes 'strength and justice' and an olive tree, which symbolizes 'peace', on which is affixed the French motto.
According to the Monnaie de Paris, 30 million new 2 euro coins will be put into circulation as of January 1, 2022. The new 1 euro coins will not be put into circulation for the moment but will only be released in small quantities for collectors.

Today's National Museum of Slovenia was founded in 1821 as the Estate Museum of Carniola. Five years later, the Austrian Emperor Francis I decided to personally sponsor the museum and ordered its renaming to Provincial Museum of Carniola. In 1882, the museum was renamed to Provincial Museum of Carniola - Rudolfinum in honour of the Crown Prince Rudolph.
