No . But these have legal tender & only for collectors. Normally every year , Turkey has issued 2-4 commemorative 1 Lira animal theme bi-metallic coins. Up to 2014 , there are 14 animal theme commemorative 1 Lira bi-metallic coins. Limon Talha
