Nepal 50 rupees 2007 - Goddess Kumari

New circulating commemorative:

"250th anniversary of the Hindu festival Kimari Jatra"



Obverse: Kumari temple where she lives (situated at Durbar square in the Kathmandu city), listed UNESCO World heritage Site. Legend above the temple reads "Sri Kumari Jatra 250" (= 250th year of Kumari festival), below the temple two dates: the left one is mint date VS2064, right date is when the festival started (Sambat 1127).

Reverse: fully dressed image of living Goddess Kumari at the center, above the legend is 'Sri Kumari', below is the denomination, left and right side has Nepal in Nepali and English.
