New circulation bimetallic type as a solemn tribute to Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) that marks the end of a historic reign.

The Royal Canadian Mint has produced a special, black-ringed two-dollar coin to commemorate Queen Elizabeth, whose death in September triggered a huge outpouring of affection in Canada and sent collectors scrambling to secure rare coins and bills bearing her portrait.
