The Governor of the Central Bank of South Sudan, Kornelio Koryom, said that the South Sudan pound coins will come into circulation this month.
The Governor told in a press conference, that the coins will be in the denominations of 1, 5, 25 and 50 piastres. He also also explained that all old Sudanese Pounds will be kept in the bank stores, pending a political agreement on currency exchange between Khartoum and Juba.
