New Caledonia 2009 - New materials

New circulating types:

Denominations from 10 francs to 100 francs changed their composition.

10, 20 and 50 francs were made of Nickel (magnetic) in previous years: KM11, KM12 and KM13.
From 2009 they are made of Copper-Nickel, they're not magnetic anymore.

100 francs (KM15) was made of Nickel-Bronze.
From 2009 it is made of Aluminium-Bronze, it's colour is a bit brighter.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was a Bengali politician and the founding leader of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, generally considered in the country as the father of the Bangladeshi nation.
He headed the Awami League, served as the first President of Bangladesh and later became its Prime Minister.

The Mint of Finland will issue in 2010 two 5 Euro coins which begin a new series of coins dedicated to the provinces of Finland.
There are nine historical provinces of Finland: Åland, Tavastia, Karelia, Lapland, Ostro-bothnia, Satakunta, Savo, Uusimaa and Finland Proper.
The two first coins will be issued in 2010 and the first two provinces represented in the series will be Finland Proper and Satakunta, respectively.
